Neural Style Transfer, Chinese Style, and Architecture

The history of using “Chinese style” in architectural design can be traced back to the Rococo period. Since Marco Polo and the Silk Road jointly brought Chinese tea and silk to Europe, Chinese-style decorative curves and spatial logic were first introduced in Europe. Occurs in small quantities in buildings and gardens. The second discussion on Chinese style in the field of architecture came directly to the use of large roofs of traditional Chinese buildings in modern buildings during the Republic of China, which essentially transferred “Chinese style” to buildings in the form of cultural symbols.
