Lingin and Lining Ⅰ

While a biomass to produce construction materials such as timber requires a large amount of energy to dry and process it (Ramage et al. 2017). Investment in the tree itself is not always possible in an industry that is widely distributed among many small producers. This raises interrogations around what should we build with wood? How are wood components scalable? Can we engineer woods to become multifunctional. Such interrogations require assessing woods from the science of the cell wall to the architectural design, engineering, and global policies. How is the wood industry bound to be transformed. Limitless possible designs with wood and wood products construction in architecture are interdependent to engineering and cultural practices.
